Today I did not automatically have a wonderful quotation in mind. So I decided to randomly browse some quotations and I found something that really fits today.
Most men who are not married by the age of thirty-five are either homosexual or really smart.
Today is kind of a big day for me. I do not celebrate Cinco de Mayo. I don’t really care one way or the other (except, of course, for the margaritas). But Cinco de Mayo is a significant day in my life.
In 1989, for instance, my sister-in-law (my brother’s wife) gave birth to niece#3. That was pretty cool – I love my nieces and nephew and great nephew and dog nephews. And, sometime before 1973, a nice couple somewhere in Canada gave birth to the fellow that would someday become my BMF (that would be “best male friend” — I still always think that “BFF” means “best female friend” because that makes sense to me — I have a best female friend and a best male friend — doesn’t everybody). He’s over 35, he’s single, and he’s REALLY smart.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY NIECE #3
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CREM
and one more
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM OF CREM
(okay — I said he’s really smart, and he is, but would you believe that he and his mom share the same birthday and he’s been known to forget to call her on her birthday).
