And the answer is

Back in October, my pal Alto2 went to Jeopardy and did us quite proud.

Today I was reading this Reuter’s article, (excerpts below) and while I’m quite impressed with the knowledge and manners displayed by Alto2 in her television debut, it was not quite as entertaining as some of the following.

Contestant: I don’t know, I wasn’t watching it then

Contestant: Sydney

Ummmm, Simone? When did Australia become part of Europe. OH — isn’t Australia right next to Austria???

Presenter: How long did the Six-Day War between Egypt and
Israel last?
Contestant: (after long pause) Fourteen days

Yeah, and the war of 1812 was in 1937

Presenter: What is the currency in India
Contestant: Ramadan

Presenter: Johnny Weissmuller died on this day. Which
jungle-swinging character clad only in a loin cloth did he
Contestant: Jesus

And this wasn’t on there, but it could be someday

Presenter: Where was the treaty of Versailles signed?
Contestant: Collieville, of course
