When my son was younger, he played soccer for a couple of seasons. He stopped playing, and moved on to chess. Chess is a great game, played predominately INDOORS.
Yesterday, as a favor to my neighbor (who had conflicts) I took her 5 year old off to his soccer match. One of the soccer fields in town is down at the south end, and I believe there are no wind breaks to the west as far as the Rocky Mountains. A breeze can come through there at a pretty strong gust. In other words it was wicked cold. I had not thought to bring blankets, but I had thought to bring fuzzybutt.
And for some reason, quite a few people wanted to borrow him. Go figure.
